These Diamond Earrings that my father gave my mother prior to me being born are the only thing I have left from my mother. After our house burnt down in 2008 with every other treasured item of mine from her going down in it, these were in the center console of my truck and I found them a couple weeks after the fire. So I truly cherish these earrings because these are the last physical anything that my mother gave me. ❤

Over these past two years at Butler I have experienced and learned some amazing things but one of my fondest memories was winning the Ft. Worth National Livestock Judging Contest, not only was I High Individual Overall but the team also won that day! Like a good friend recently told me I am 1 our of 6 people this year that won a National Contest, also this year the team was one of two teams to win two (2) National Contests which is remarkable. Being a High Individual at a National Contest  has been one of my biggest goals and dreams ever since I came to Butler to judge and finally I did it and so did the team. It was an incredible feeling to have a dream come true after everything I and the team had worked so hard for.

Just Living the Dream

While most college kids head South to warm weather and sun tans over Spring Break, every year my siblings and I return home to Elk City, Kansas to prepare for our family’s annual production bull sale.

This year, we sold almost 200 Angus and Hereford bulls and a little over 200 commercial females (179 and 217, respectively- to be exact). The weather was gorgeous and the lunch was simply scrumptious 🙂 (especially the pie, if I may say so myself!)

We had such a great turn out. It is always great to see old friends and make new ones.

Well this is what I pretty much did on day 4. Said goodbye to my family and friends at home. Drove 12 hours across 3 states and ended up back in El Dorado Ks. 🙂

Well there have been many people I have been close with for a very long time and cannot just pick one so ill just put a couple 🙂

My brothers and these three girls have been with me forever and I love them all so much! They have helped and been there for me through some of the toughest and best times of my life so far and I have no idea what I would do without any of them. I no we do not get to see each other as much as we like because after graduation we all seemed to go off in separate way but we always still find a way to connect and get together as much as possible. Yes we may cooky and only laugh at each others jokes and do some random stupid things every once in awhile but hey what are friends for!

“Even though we’ve changed and we’re all finding our own place in the world, we all know that when the tears fall or the smile spreads across our face, we’ll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world takes us, nothing will ever change so much to the point where we’re not all still friends.

1. I was born and Raised in Wyoming ❤ and take Pride in that fact 🙂

2.  I was raised by my two brothers Jeremiah (29)& Casey(25),  and then there was me Whitney (19)

3. I LOVE Agriculture and showing Cattle and Pigs!!!! ❤

4. My family and Best Friends Mean EVERYTHING to me!

5.  Going to Butler was one of the best decisions I ever  made!

6.  I am constantly trying to improve in everything I do and I dont settle for just anything

7. I have no idea where I am going to go to Senior College at and that makes me nervous 🙂

8.  I say the lords prayer every night before I go to bed and sometimes when I am in dire need of some direction

9. I grew up on a Purebred Angus and Commercial Cow-Calf Operation in Central Wyoming and would not trade it for anything!

10. Life has thrown many curve balls at my family and there were times that I didn’t think we would make it through but with dedication, persistence and just sticking together as a family I have learned there is nothing that can stand in ours or my way.
